Richard Mille RM11 Yellow Storm
This special model is the unique rendition of Richard Mille’s popular automatic flyback chronograph, which now, for the first time, in a modern NTPT carbon case that is made of three separate layers. The crown and the pushers are also made from NTPT carbon, which is obtained using the North Thin Ply Technology that improves the mechanical properties of composite materials (better homogeneity, better tensile and compressive strength, longer lifespan and better resistance to damage and shocks) making them suitable for use in aerospace, race car design, or the manufacture of racing sails. This advanced type of carbon is even more lightweight than the conventional one, while being much stronger and durable. It is made of no less than 600 layers of parallel filaments, which are acquired by dividing carbon fiber. The layers are impregnated with resin and machined woven to create distinctive shapes and patterns that resemble those of precious woods.
