Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Titanium 41mm Slate Grey 26530TI.OO.1220TI.01
Famed as the watch that created the luxury steel sports watch category back in 1972, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak family has since gone on to include an extensive array of movements, complications, and construction materials over its lengthy lifetime. Ranging from chronograph variants to dual times, annual calendars, and more, the tourbillon variant is one of the most revered and highly sought after. While the tourbillon was previously only available in the 40th anniversary Royal Oak Tourbillon Extra-Thin, it re-emerged within the Royal Oak following APs launch of the ref. 26530 in 2020. Powered by the new and immaculately finished self-winding in-house cal. 2950 movement, the ref. 26530 features a lengthy 65-hour power reserve and a mesmerizing flying tourbillon, packed within its 6.2mm construction, allowing the ref. 26530 to stand at an impressively flat 10.6mm tall. Wearing invisibly on the wrist thanks to its wonderfully thin 41mm case, the ref. 26530 is aided by the very fact that it is entirely constructed of titanium with a matching titanium dial that forgoes the Royal Oaks signature tapisserie pattern in lieu of a sandblasted texture at its center with a smooth periphery containing a subtle concentric guilloche engraving that snails around the entire dial.
