Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Frosted Chronograph Purple 26331BC.GG.1224BC.01

$275,000

An iconic masterpiece known for its sporty octagonal case shape, substantial link bracelet, and grande tapisserie dial. With all of the stunning collections released from AP, we are intrigued by the dazzling frosted gold details of this eye-catching design. Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the first ladies' Royal Oak designed by Jacqueline Dimier in 1976, the 41mm is inlaid in a frosted 18-carat white gold case. This method is achieved by the Florentine Technique which involves a diamond-tipped, needle-like tool that hammers into the surface of gold, creating tiny facets. This allows for an almost diamond-like appearance that shimmers and is rough to the touch. The polished, beveled edges of the bracelet links offer contrast to make the frosting pop. It  features a plum purple dial with 'Grande Tapisserie' pattern, white gold applied hour-markers and Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating. Included inn this architecture is a white three sub-dial, glareproof sapphire-crystal and caseback with screw-locked crown. Powered by the Calibre 2385 self-winding movement with a power reserve of 40 hours.  On the wrist this watch is a dream. It comes on a 18-carat white gold bracelet with AP folding clasp.
